The front fence is a grand old wrought iron and masonry one, with turret tops to the columns and elaborate iron gates.

The current owners have been lovingly restoring this house, but as the old country-style kitchen, laundry and bathrooms suited them, purchasers will have the opportunity to modernize those to suit their own taste. A roomy walk-in pantry is a feature of the kitchen area. The house has been re-piered, rewired, fully insect-screened in a manner sensitive to its heritage nature, and was recently re-roofed and insulated.
