How can we accept different  religions when we can feel so strongly that our own religion is the ‘right’ one?

Differing religious viewpoints, at times, have been the cause of terrible war, strife, oppression and slaughter. If we can alleviate the alienation and hostility some members of different religions have felt toward each other perhaps we can help to alleviate some of the difficulties and tragedies of the human condition.

Open Forum

The NSW Attorney General has arranged for an open forum meeting in relation to the Homeland Trust to take place on Friday, 25 May 2012 at 9.00am - 11.00am to take place at the Bellingen Courthouse.

The purpose of the open forum meeting is to allow persons currently residing at Homeland who are not members of Homeland Community Limited, and other interested members of the public, to convey their views about the future of the Homeland Trust and to put forward any alternative proposals for the management of the trust they wish to have considered.

A 2BBB FM radio programme of Religious Teachings and Discussions

Experienced radio presenter and long term member of Homeland, Yen (Ian Gardner) has successfully applied for the presentation of a weekly programme, on Bellingen Shire’s community radio station, 2BBB FM, dedicated, each month, to a particular religion, faith, or spiritual philosophy.

Commencing soon

The presentation of teachings, discussions, lectures, etc. pertaining to all aspects of that religion, faith, etc will be bracketed with musical interludes and interviews with gurus, adherents and practitioners.
