Relax in the rustic ambience and charm of a self contained holiday house on the New South Wales Mid North Coast.

This huge house easily accommodates 6 people. 2 rooms have queen beds and a 3rd has twin singles, a futon lounge/bed is available downstairs for extra guests. There are 2 bathrooms one with bath and shower the other with spa and shower, and 2 living areas one up one down. A fully equipped kitchen caters for up to 8 occupants. Linen is provided although there is no room or cleaning service.

The house is set on 1¼ acre on the outskirts of Bellingen 1.2 km from main street restaurants and craft shops. You are just 25 min from the Dorrigo, World Heritage rainforest and 15 minutes from unspoiled golden surfing beaches.

There are stunning mountain views from the top and bottom verandahs.

Mulakut's Rest is a great location for family holidays, artistic work opportunities, or relaxing retreats.

The Bellinger River is one of the best in NSW with wonderful fresh clear swimming holes and great fishing.

The town also hosts a number of international events throughout the year. Stamping Ground & Camp Creative (Jan), Jazz Festival (Aug), Global Carnival (Oct) and Flamingo Carnival (Apr). January is our peak season.

Mulakuts Rest is surrounded by great activities: golf at Bellingen or Bonville. Canoeing on the Bellinger River or white water rafting on the Nymboida River. Valery Trail House Riding, Raleigh International Raceway and Fairy Tale Tours horse and carriage rides are all nearby. You can bushwalk in one of the seven nearby National Parks. Visit the Rainforest Centre in World Heritage Dorrigo National Park ( 30kms from Bellingen). Bellingen and surrounds offer many gorgeous waterfalls and picnic spots.
