The Yellow Shed, Bellingen
The historic Yellow Shed building, constructed in the late 1800’s is located on the eastern approach to the Bellingen CBD. In 1981, after many years lying idle, unloved and uncared for, it was bought, renovated and turned into an enchanting and delightful shopping destination for locals and tourists alike.
Step inside and you will be amazed at the variety of artifacts and products on display. You will experience a shopping feast to delight the senses and intrigue the mind.
Founder of the Yellow Shed, Gillian White, now has a selection of over 3000 book titles. The range is extraordinary, selected to suit all ages and interests. There's a great selection of CD's too. Paintings, woodwork and pottery are still important interests enhanced by a huge range of gifts for everyone.
There are lots of hats for kids and adults, with jewellery, lamps, toys, games, jigsaws, dream catchers, candles, oils and cards, didgeridoos and boomerangs and much more to choose from.
Allow plenty of time to browse!
The Yellow Shed is recognised as a Bellingen icon, and is a must see when you next visit this historic township.
